My stretched canvas prints are printed and produced in New Zealand by photographic lab specialists who’ve been doing it for close on 40 years. I trust them because they know photography, they know colour and they care about the details.
The photograph is printed on premium German fine art canvas. It’s 410gsm of the finest archival quality museum-grade goodness. It’s 100% cotton and the colours will last 70 years.
The canvas gets wrapped on solid 40mm wooden stretcher bars. The frame is beveled towards the canvas so the wood bars can’t be noticed. The canvas is taped and strung ready for hanging.
I like super neat, square edges and tidy corners.
They finish off the canvas sides using the mirrored edge method. This way none of the photographic scene gets lost. The canvas print is finished off with the latest UV and scratch resistant aqueous coating technology, which can be wiped with a damp cloth.
